If you love fruit desserts, then you will love this since it has an added crusty layer to make your dessert experience, heavenly.

This strawberry crostata is my favorite way to eat strawberries (other than raw, of course). The roasted berries have a delicate floral accent that comes from the addition of rose water. This is entirely optional, as I’ve made this dessert without it and loved it just as much.

Saltimbocca (also saltinbocca) (Italian: jumps in the mouth) is a dish (popular in southern Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Greece) made of veal lined or topped with prosciutto and sage; marinated in wine, oil or saltwater depending on the region or one’s own taste. This dish is also occasionally topped with capers depending on individual taste.

A version of this dish is saltimbocca alla Romana (saltimbocca, Roman-style) (although it probably originated in Brescia) which consists of veal, prosciutto or ham, and sage, rolled-up and cooked in Marsala and butter.

Cranachan ,is a traditional Scottish dessert. In modern times it is usually made from a mixture of whipped cream, whisky, honey (preferably heather honey), and fresh raspberries, with toasted oatmeal soaked overnight in a little whisky.
A traditional way to serve cranachan is to bring dishes of each ingredient to the table, so that each person can assemble their dessert to taste. Tall dessert glasses are also of typical presentation.
It was originally a summer dish and often consumed around harvest time, but is now more likely to be served all year round and on special occasions. A variant dish was ale-crowdie, consisting of ale, treacle and whisky with the oatmeal – served at a wedding with a ring in the mixture: whoever got the ring would be the next to marry.
